The season is over! The time when there were children's laughter and mirth and festivity in the camp has become a remembrance. When we think back on the past season, we see what great work God has made. It's worth outliving! How much blessings and faithfulness, how much protection and inspiration, indulgence and mercy! Yes, we have outlived much, and are aiming to outlive again and again great deals of God. By these words I am not at pains to point out how much work we have done. No doubt a children's ministry is a sheaf of blessing. But there is one special reason which encourage us to be involved in children's ministry more faithfully and do it in all haste... 
   The tragedy of Beslan - a modern massacre of the innocents! If I even try as I might, I cannot erase such a terrible experience from my memory. The team of evil killed hundreds of children. On reflection I suppose they are antipodes of members of our team. In our camp we strain every effort to give life, peace and joy. They brought a violent death and untold suffering.
   A shot was fired; a child crumpled up and fell dead. Sadly, men bore dead child to his mother. Another parents could not find their kids for a long time; were praying day and night for their deliverance; clung to the hope that kids were not dead. But a bitter truth is revealed.
   O dear! Those children's faces on telescreens! Children's face is always beautiful. But when you look at them in perplexity and suddenly understand that it is a portrait of a little child, which was killed just few days ago, it is terrible.
   Look at the kids' faces on our Internet site, read their prayers; each of these could be damaged! But, thank God, He has shown mercy on our country. Though twice this year the terrorists' bombs blasted the peace in Uzbekistan. Now they say, there is no more hope left except one; those souls of the dead, whose names were written upon the bead-roll just published out, now are with God, and He "shall wipe away all tears from their eyes". However, can we be assured they are saved? Can we be assured they at least heard about Jesus and His salvation? It is a grand question, isn't it? A matter of eternal life and death!
   People sit by the grave, hunched up with grief. They bring to the killed their belongings: shoes, textbooks and toys. The government flings their promises about. But, let's put sentimentality aside. We don't believe, it enough to garland the new-made grave when they had not guarded the child against terrorists. The killed don't need for anything of material world, but the living does. We have to take care of those who alive. So, let wealth to help bring the Gospel to children around you.
   It is necessary to see what you could do when you invest in ministry in such countries as Uzbekistan. We pray God to make it obvious to every manager of His funds.
